6 Weeks In: Progress, Coffee Lessons, and a Little Scone Treat

I’ve just finished my first 6-week cycle, and now starting my next one. I think I’ve petered off for a little bit, and an interesting reason why the weight hasn’t been dropping is apparently I’ve been drinking too much coffee, about 5 cups a day, which counteracts the 2 to 3 litres of water a day and therefore the body actually retains water.

My eating has been very, very good (well, apart from that little scone and clotted cream that my Senior Advisor, Lara Mailich, allowed me to have this afternoon as a treat going into my second cycle).

So, that’s the only thing that I have really had a cheat day with, but other than that my eating is going perfectly, I’m gyming hard which means hopefully the muscle is a little heavier than fat but over the next 6 weeks I should be able to drain between 4-6 kg.  If I might say so myself – I am looking great and feeling good.  I’m running hard, cycling hard, and training hard with a positive mindset, which brings with it positive energy. My work side is going fantastically well, I have pulled in several new roles and clients, and I always say that my attitude determines my altitude.
